Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board (WSMB) Sponsors Free Nematode Testing
To help growers stay ahead of the most important nematode pest of soybean crop, the soybean cyst nematode (SCN), WSMB is sponsoring free soybean cyst sampling. For a free sample test kit, call 608.262.1390, email freescntest@mailplus.wisc.edu or view the SCN brochure to learn more.

CoolBean.info
This UW-Extension website offers the latest soybean research and information for growers. Plus, sign up for the CoolBean.info Listserv to receive uptodate information related to Midwest soybean and small grains production.

The Soybean Report Blog
UW Soybean Extension Specialist, Shawn Conley and fellow checkoff researcher Paul Esker created The Soybean Report blog as a way for researchers to communicate directly with you. Several soybean researchers write posts for the blog to give Wisconsin soybean growers realtime information that can help you better your crop. The researchers update The Soybean Report weekly during the growing season.

National Soybean Sustainability Initiative (NSSI)
In a collaborative effort with network of national and state soybean organizations, the University of Wisconsin – Madison is leading this Initiative that will allow U.S. soybean growers to maximize global utilization of U.S. soy in the feed, food, industrial and energy markets. The goal of this Initiative is to develop a roadmap of soybean management systems that will help growers to achieve verifiable sustainability outcomes, improve the environmental services and productivity of their farms, help their rural communities thrive, and satisfy performance expectations of the soybean value chain.

North Central Soybean Research Program
The Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board leverages resources through regional initiatives such as the North Central Soybean Research Program (NCSRP). This program coordinates soybean production research efforts to maximize efficient use of resources on a regional level. NCSRP is comprised of the state soybean checkoff boards in Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

Soybean Plant Health Website
The Soybean Plant Health website provides growers with recent research-based information on diseases and pests of Wisconsin’s field crops. You will find reports, pictures and videos on a variety of soybean health topics.

United Soybean Board
The United Soybean Board is comprised of 62 farmerdirectors representing soybeanproducing states and appointed by the secretary of agriculture. The checkoff conducts research for the expanded use of soybeans and soybean products. In addition, USB implements promotional and informational programs that help growers and build demand.

QUALISOY
QUALISOY works directly with the soybean value chain including growers, seed companies, elevators and food manufacturers to bring healthier soybean oils to the market place.
